The IHCBS Department provides the following services / programs:
Homemaker:
Our Homemaker program assists seniors 60 years of age or older who have difficulty with LIGHT housekeeping, meal preparation and running errands.
Light housekeeping can include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and laundry. Our Homemakers provide service to a senior once a week for one hour.
Personal Care:
Our Personal Care, program assist seniors 60 years of age or older with personal care such as bathing, dressing, transferring, and other lavatory needs.
All IHCBS employees are certified in First Aid and CPR.
National Family Caregiver Support Programs Respite:
Respite is defined as a short period of rest or relief from something.
The EBRCOA offers respite services to caregivers 18 years of age or older who assist in the care of a senior.
A caregiver can be a relative, friend or neighbor.
Our Respite services relieve the caregiver once a week for 3.5 hours with a maximum of 120 hours. Respite workers also assist with LIGHT housekeeping, personal grooming and supervision.
