Elections are around the corner, but our current situation has not allowed many in the community to interact and engage with the candidates freely, nor have they been able to engage with each other. The 2020 Virtual Candidate Series provides you with the opportunity to meet and interact with various candidates in a safe and friendly environment.

Join us on Tuesday, October 6th, for our first event of the 2020 Virtual Candidate Series. Candidates from District 2 and District 9 of the Baton Rouge Metro Council election will be the focus for our October 6th event. 

Event Details for the October 6th Event:

• Registration is free to the public

• Questions can be asked before and during the event
• District 2 Candidate Speakers – Councilwoman Chauna Banks, Dina Johnson, Vincent James, Eugene Rico Williams
• District 9 Candidate Speakers – Jim Mora
• 19th Judicial District Court – Yvette Alexander
• The event will be streamed live at the following locations: EBRCOA website (The Lotus Zone), EBRCOA Facebook Page, and the EBRCOA YouTube page.
