BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (08/09/2019) – The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging is excited to announce the Groundbreaking Ceremony of The Lotus Center at 1701 Main Street on Thursday, August 15 at 9:30 a.m. Having outgrown their current facility at 5790 Florida Blvd, which has been home of the main senior center for nearly twenty years, The Lotus Center is the proposed replacement facility.

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (07/25/2019) – The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging announced its Lotus Rides Transportation Program won the Bronze award in the First Zonar All Star Awards program. Lotus Rides launched on June 17, 2019. Operational a little over one month, the program has flourished and has been well received by the community. East Baton Rouge Council on Aging Co-Host Roof Reset Application Assistance Day

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (06/24/2019) – The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging, in partnership with Build Baton Rouge, will co-host Roof Reset Application Assistance Days on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the EBRCOA Capital City Event Center (6955 Florida Blvd.). To receive assistance, the applicant must be 60 years old or older and a resident of East Baton Rouge Parish.
