EBRCOA Thanks the Community for Their Patience

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (6/16/2021) – The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging announced today that they will host the distribution of fans as part of its Annual “Beat the Heat” Fan Distribution on Thursday, June 17th at 12pm at The Lotus Center located at 1701 Main Street. The Fan Distribution is in conjunction with the Parish-wide Food Pantry Giveaway, which is also scheduled for Thursday at The Lotus Center. Fans and groceries will be distributed until supplies are exhausted.

EBRCOA Facilitates COVID-19 Vaccines to Seniors Ages 70 and Older

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (01/10/2021) – Team EBRCOA is excited to announce our new amazing community partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, the City of Baton Rouge, and Albertsons Companies to host a Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for seniors ages 70 and older at the EBRCOA downtown Lotus Senior Center at 1701 Main Street. The clinic will be Tuesday, January 12th thru Thursday, January 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

EBRCOA COVID-19 Return to Work Plan

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (11/29/2020) – As Governor John Bel Edwards announced on November 24, 2020, there has been an aggressive surge in COVID-19 in our area and the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging has positioned its operations to return to Phase II. Phase II operations will consist of providing all staff with a “COVID-19 Return to Work Plan” which outlines that essential employees will return to the office beginning Monday, November 30th.
