BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Seniors in East Baton Rouge Parish are getting a major boost thanks to a donation from an organization with a long history of supporting older adults. The Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) presented the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging with a donation of $44,498.50 during a ceremony on Friday at the Lotus Center in downtown Baton Rouge.
