BATON ROUGE, La. (THE ADVOCATE) - A Baker man was arrested Monday by Baton Rouge police after allegedly throwing out 17 cases of food meant for seniors and not getting permission from his supervisor.

BATON ROUGE, La. (The Advocate) — Two East Baton Rouge Council on Aging employees were fired for allegedly failing to deliver more than 100 meals to seniors and leaving the food in agency vehicles over the weekend. The two employees failed to deliver their assigned meal boxes to homebound seniors on Friday, the agency said in a news release.
